Our estimates are not free, but there is a reason why:
Our estimates are written using software called Xactimate®. What is Xactimate exactly? Xactimate is a computer software system for estimating construction costs that insurance companies have widely used in the past decade. Insurance company adjusters use it to calculate building damage and repair and rebuilding costs. Adjusters use Xactimate to generate loss estimates and claim settlement offers. Xactimate is widely used by over 95% of insurance companies, so you will want to be sure your restoration contractor is familiar with this program.
With Xactimate, we essentially write your repair estimate in the carrier’s preferred language, using their preferred pricing. Pricing is set by Xactimate(not us or the carrier)primarily based on the date the loss occurred and the area in which the loss occurred.
Our estimating team has written thousands of claims and spent thousands of hours documenting insurance losses. We are all Xactimate certified, so rest assured that we’re documenting every inch of your home or business properly.
Our estimates also include a separate photo PDF and, most often, a 3D Walkthrough called a Matterport file. The more details you can provide a carrier, the better.
We spend an average of over 16 hours on each estimate, making sure we attack each loss with a fine-tooth comb approach, leaving no area untouched. We ensure every detail is accounted for and properly documented.
The upfront cost is always credited back if you choose to rebuild with Blaze Restoration.
