Ken Stryker began his career in construction in 2006 and founded Blaze Restoration in 2015 with a clear conviction, the industry could do better. While working in construction during college, Ken saw firsthand where projects broke down, communication failed, and homeowners were left carrying unnecessary stress. He set out to build a company that raised the standard through discipline, transparency, and an uncompromising attention to detail.

Ken often says, "There's nothing proprietary about what we do. There's no magic wand. The difference is us." That philosophy drives every project Blaze takes on. From permitting through final completion, Ken has personally overseen more than 750 reconstruction projects, ensuring each one meets Blaze's expectations for quality, documentation, and client experience.

Under Ken's leadership, Blaze Restoration has become known throughout the Pacific Northwest for handling complex, large-loss insurance claims on both the residential and commercial side. The firm is regularly entrusted with high-stakes, technically demanding losses where coordination, documentation, and execution are critical.

Blaze Restoration has earned over a dozen awards recognizing design excellence, safety performance, and operational efficiency. The company is a five-time recipient of the Best of Clark County award and is pursuing a sixth consecutive win later this year, a distinction driven entirely by community recognition among more than 25 nominated companies annually.

Outside of work, Ken is deeply rooted in family and service. He married his college sweetheart in Vancouver and is a proud father of two. At home, life is full and busy, shared with dogs, cats, ducks, chickens, and an impressive assortment of reptiles and parrots.

Raised in a military family, Ken grew up around the world, an experience that shaped his adaptability, leadership style, and respect for structure. While the Pacific Northwest is home, Puerto Rico remains his second home and a place of deep personal connection.

Ken remains actively involved in the community as a youth basketball coach (Go Blaze!), Boys & Girls Club mentor, Evergreen Habitat for Humanity Group Builder, and neighborhood association vice president. He also founded Glaze at Blaze, now entering its 12th year, which has provided full Thanksgiving meals to more than 200 local families to date. Ken believes success carries responsibility and that you can never give back enough.
